Przewinnik [A guilt diary] is a little, wicked book, a prayer book á rebours, that, instead of curing the soul, keeps evoking sinful thoughts. Its structure is based on the traditional order of the seven deadly sins. It starts with pride and greed – directed at conquering the outside world – and ends with sloth, understood as acedia – a spiritual apathy, burning out, the blue screen of death. I want to confront the reader with my book in order to ask the question whether sin is something individual or perhaps – something universal to all human beings.
